You’ll Never Believe How Much Judge Judy Is Paid

A newly unveiled deposition shows that when it comes to her salary, Judge Judy is just as tough on her negotiations as she is in the courtroom. The star says every 3 years she sits down for dinner with CBS’s president and hands him an envelope with her demands and requested pay. She says, “Their back is to the wall. I can produce this show myself.” 

She continues, “We sit across the table, and I hand him the envelope and I say, ‘Don’t read it now, let’s have a nice dinner. Call me tomorrow. You want it, fine. Otherwise, I’ll produce it myself.” One time the CBS head came with his own envelope and the Judge wasn’t having any of it.
